    About Cobalt Instance

    Cobalt saves media from social platforms without ads, trackers, or paywalls. This template runs the processing instance — the API that does the work. There's no web UI: point any cobalt frontend at it (cobalt.tools → settings → instances → custom) or call it from your own scripts.
    Want the frontend hosted on your server too? Deploy the Cobalt template instead — it runs both on one domain.
    An API key is generated on first boot and printed in the deploy logs. Keys bypass rate limits, and can be made mandatory with API_AUTH_REQUIRED=1.
    Bandwidth, not CPU, is the limit: downloads stream through your server.
